Hawaii Friends for Civil Rights Banquet A Great Success
The Friends of Civil Rights gathered at the Hilton Hawaiian Village recently to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and vision and also to recognize this year’s six honorees.
The honorees for the evening were Doris Ching, Bill Hoshijo, Dr. Scott McCaffrey, Lorna Peck and Mila Medallon. The Lifetime Friends Awardee was U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie.
