Dr. Irwin Koff, a thirty-five year veteran of Kaiser Permanente, recently joined the Work*StarInjuryRecoveryCenter’s team of physician specialists. After he graduated from George Washington University’s School of Medicine in 1969 he completed a residency in Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco in 1973.
After satisfying the educational requirements for traditional medicine Dr. Koff then began to pursue his life-long professional interest in complementary and alternative medicine, specifically acupuncture. From 1980 thru 1988 he studied with Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama in Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Flex Mann in London, England and the Colleges of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai and Beijing, China.
Dr. Koff is now accepting new patients and recommends acupuncture for the following five conditions:
Headaches (migraine, tension, TMJ)
Spinal pain
Joint pain (knee, ankle, shoulder, hip, and wrist)
